Community Education (Fee-Based)

Many Community Colleges offer fee-based, not-for-credit programs, known as community services, community education or extension. The Community Education Council supports ACCE members by addressing issues such as: staffing, recruiting instructors, cost analysis and recovery, marketing, brochure development, new course development, web pages, registration, relationships with credit programs, and legislation affecting delivery of services.

Continuing Education (Noncredit)

All ACCE members who serve a role in Continuing Education are members of the Continuing Education Council.  Its purpose is to provide an arena for sharing collective knowledge to develop and maintain quality noncredit programs in California Community Colleges.  The Council also helps to develop the organization's positions on issues affecting noncredit.
